ECOLOGICAL gains are relevant when we consider that there is a drastic reduction in the use of chemicals in printing, also in the chemicals used in the cleaning processes of the entire system.
An important highlight is the substantial reduction in waste and expenses for collecting contaminated water, as when starting to use the equipment, the need to constantly wash bathtubs and refrigerators is reduced. This savings occurs because in addition to water treatment, we filter the return water.

Social Gains
SOCIAL gains are consolidated for the entire factory by removing isopropyl alcohol from the environment. We know that in addition to public health problems, alcohol also generates the need for special certificates and specific controls on behalf of federal agencies. By deciding not to use the chemical product, we therefore decided to store a highly flammable and volatile product that leaves the air harmful to employees. Less idle working capital and, above all, less risk of workplace accidents.
Governance Gains
In a simple GOVERNANCE spreadsheet, it is possible to record all direct reductions in input expenses and at the same time account for gains in productivity, stability, quality and improved profitability.
When printing without alcohol, with very little solution, the water film on the plate is automatically reduced, thus requiring less ink. With less paint, we will have less emulsification and thus a stabilized process.
Setups are faster, generating savings on substrates. Less dot gain will be noticed and the printout will therefore be brighter. Using less water improves drying and image definition. As we filter the return water, the water will always be clean in the refrigerator without grease, resulting in fewer stops to clean the system.
The PCP then sees a huge gain in productivity, as it has more machine hours available.
Over time, with fewer aggressive chemicals, more benefits are perceived, such as descaling and increased durability of rolls, and the lifespan of blankets and printing plates in longer runs.
